I like Ted, I do, but his death isn't what I'm annoyed about.

I'm screaming bloody murder at the other character assassination. What the fuck did they do to Max Lord? Why the Fuck? How badly do these people not understand the bloody character, for heaven's sake? Yes, he's a manipulative bastard. He's also a good man. He bloody well is. The Martian Manhunter read his mind, for fuck's sake. He also lost the mind control powers fricking ages ago. I have never seen a revelation that makes less sense than this one. What in the living hell?

Fuck you, DC.

What the hell is it with the moronic retcons lately? I swear, if I look through my list of favourite characters to see how they're doing in the books at the moment, I'm gonna get seriously depressed.

I read some old Wonder Woman lately, Byrne written and drawn. He brought in Jason Blood and the Demon (non-rhyming). It wasn't bad, so I decided to order Blood of the Demon.

*sigh* I feel the Max pain. Although, since he's not been so well treated since Breakdowns anyway, I'm not so much surprised at the *evil* part as by Max lacking both the morality of his JLI incarnation and any sense of what's happened to the character since!

I'm annoyed on both counts, myself. *sighs* I still don't see why it was so god-awful to have characters with no angst. I guess DC's decided to get significantly darker everywhere regardless of how little sense it makes.
