Morbid curiosity kicks in...
So I got to thinking. What is the status of my favourite DC second bananas?



Jason Blood - Taken over by Byrne, retconned into someone unrecognisable.
Azrael - Apparently dead. Not seen for more than a year now.
Anarky - Disappeared into oblivion for a time. Turning up in Green Arrow in three months. I am cautiously optimistic from reading the (fill-in) writer's ideas.
The Thing that Cannot Die - Banished and turned evil, according to Byrne.
Maxwell Lord - Moronically retconned. "Haha! He was always evil, despite the fact that this makes no sense!"
Deadshot - In remarkably good condition. My god! Still morally ambiguous, now has a child and even attempted a semi-serious relationship. Seems as stunned about this as you would expect. Showing up as a rebel against the big evil guys in "Villians United" - which seems like a reasonable direction.
The Creeper - He and Jack Ryder seem remarkably settled in Metropolis.
Piper - His life has been trashed, but he's fighting back. Part of Jesse's team.
The Trickster (version 1) - Leading a pack of 'good' Rogues against the bad ones. Seems to be enjoying himself :-).
Sebastian Faust - In limbo. No, I mean character limbo. You can never be sure with these magic characters. Still part of the Sentinels of Magic, as far as I can tell.
Vext - So disappeared.
Captain Boomerang - Very dead.
Count Vertigo - Limbo, as far as I know.
Amanda Waller - In jail.
Mirror Master - Fighting drug addiction and James Jesse's team.
Modem - Very dead.
Savant - Mysteriously disappeared, leaving his naked sidekick behind to angst.
Aztek - Even more very dead.
