Suitable for comics_genfic?
Okay, I'm pondering how to get more people to try reading The Piper and the Gunsmith, because I'm quite proud of it and yet I suspect the obscurity of the characters has reduced my audience rather vastly. I've posted a link from the secondbananas lj community, but I really can't think of any other commuinties it would fit.

People who've read the fic and know the group, do you think it could be posted on comics_genfic? I'm wary, because, well, the fic's a romance, at least technically. Kinda. On the other hand, the plot is the key to the story; the plot is the story. The romance of the central characters is the most important thing in the story, but it's so tightly bound up with the events that happen that if the romance was the only thing there, there wouldn't be a story. So it's both the most important bit of the story, and the least, both at the same time.

I don't think of it as a ship fic, myself. But I don't know whether I'd call it gen, either. And I don't know whether it would fit into comics_genfic's charter.

Anyone else got an opinion? Gen? Ship? Both? Neither? Or another community it might be suitable for?
